3 more leads ???

Now where did those come from?
Since I don't have sophisticated tracking software, I honestly don't know. I know I have my ads in rotation at several traffic exchanges but I cannot say where I got these leads. HitsBoosterPro again? Or TrafficSwarm maybe?
Anyway, my ASB ads are working - up to a point anyway. Still zero sales, but 14 leads now. I wonder why nobody is buying .... I did!

I have been working on a different approach to advertising Clickbank links but I have not been successful there yet either. More to follow when I understand it better.

I am hardly on line at the moment -
busy with other things now that the whole family is home all day - but after allocating credits to my sites at HitsBoosterPro again yesterday, I got two more leads to my ASB business!
This may not be good advertising for ASB / Clickbank, but it certainly is good advertising for my favorite traffic exchange. I actually get results by simply allocating the credits I receive monthly (this is the only traffic exchange I upgraded at, so I get credits whether I surf or not).
So even if you don't want to join my ASB business, I strongly recommend HitsBoosterPro to promote any business you want! (Do check their terms first, they do have rules about which sites can be put in rotation of course.)

and all I did was allocate more credits to my sites in one traffic exchange. Actually, it is my favorite traffic exchange and the only one I actually upgraded at. Might as well plug it here:

and I haven't actually done much active advertising at all last week. Apparently the ads are still running - and ASB will follow up on my lead so no worries there. Surprising. :)

Honesty ...

Okay, it is time for another update on my progress to get Clickbank sales.
As you can see in the stats on the left here, my sales are still at zero ......

I will be brutally honest here: everything I have joined so far is turning out to be a disappointment.

While I believe AffiliateSilverBullet has the right idea, it is taking me way more time to generate traffic to my squeeze pages than I had expected. The squeeze pages are very appealing, with sound that starts automatically, so even when someone has several tabs open in their browser, they will still here the very attractive ad. I do have some leads now but getting those depends on how hard I work to get more and more traffic to the pages and to get e-mail ads sent out.

Since I am looking for a second income, I did not plan on working just as hard for it as for my first income ... if you know what I mean!

The guy I e-mailed about his fool proof system never got back to me, so I'm passing on his "you cannot go wrong with this because I am actually using it myself" pitch.

The DailyNicheIdea is also a disappointment. I am not even getting daily e-mails and I still have to work my butt off to get traffic - no pointers as to where the buyers are in the "niche" they suggest. I sure am glad I did not take the first 2 One Time Offers and went for the 1 month free trial in stead. I will cancel before the month is over, of course.

I will continue to look for good ideas - please feel free to send me some, but only things that have actually worked for you, okay ?!

Final note for today:

It is reassuring that the ASB staff is doing all the follow-up with my leads, so I am going to continue plugging my squeeze pages for long term profits (hopefully).

A free e-book ....

Yesterday I did a Google search for "free clickbank tips" and found a free e-book.
When I signed up to download it, I was asked twice if I wanted resell rights and I would get all kinds of other goodies to go, but I would need to pay. I declined the first offer, then got a cheaper offer (only $17) just for the e-book which would contain all my links. It was tempting at that low price but I declined again, simply because I wanted to see the e-book first.

I am very glad I did not buy the resell rights because as it turns out, the e-book gives nothing more than some help in browsing the actual Clickbank site and gives links to a few other sites. There is some helpful info in there, but these are things I could have found out myself as well.

So - to help you get started at Clickbank this is a nice e-book with helpful screenshots, but please do not pay for the resell rights: All About Clickbank.

One of the sites that are recommended in this e-book is DailyNicheIdea. Now I joined this one free as well, and they too have tempting "one time offers" when you sign up. I declined the $97 life time membership, then declined the $9.97 monthly membership (which is 50% of the normal fee) and took the 1 month free offer! After the first month, it will be $9.97 monthly but I can cancel before that or at any time later on. I thought, why pass up on a free month?
